Welcome to Versed Learn. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Versed Learn mobile application (the "App") operated by Versed Apps ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Versed Learn. If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you represent that you have obtained your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App and that they have read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

If you are under 13, you may only use the App with verifiable parental consent in compliance with COPPA. Parents or guardians who create accounts on behalf of children under 13 accept these Terms and are responsible for the child's use of the App.

3. Free and Pro Plans

3.1 Free Plan

Versed Learn offers a free plan that includes unlimited decks and cards, FSRS spaced repetition, all accessibility features, statistics and streaks, the parent dashboard, break reminders, and access to community decks. The free plan is available at no cost and does not require a subscription.

3.2 Pro Plan (Subscription)

Versed Learn Pro is a premium subscription that provides additional features including AI deck generation, document upload to flashcards, smart test mode with AI-generated distractors, AI deck expansion, study plans and insights, and AI-powered progress reports.

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Pricing

Versed Learn Pro is available at the following prices:

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will not affect active subscription periods.

4.2 Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation must be done through your device's app store:

When you cancel, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free plan. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.

4.5 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly disclosed before you subscribe. The trial period allows access to Pro features at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the flashcard decks, cards, and other content you create in the App ("User Content"). By creating content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the App's services (e.g., spaced repetition scheduling, AI features).

5.2 Community Decks — Prohibited Content

If you share decks publicly through the community feature, your content must not:

We reserve the right to remove any public deck that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate the accounts of repeat offenders, without prior notice.

5.3 Content Moderation

We moderate community decks to maintain a safe environment for all users, including minors. If you encounter inappropriate content, please report it through the App or email us at support@versedlearn.com.

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Versed Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

8. AI Features Disclaimer

Versed Learn Pro includes AI-powered features such as deck generation and smart test mode. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. AI-generated flashcards and test questions should be reviewed for accuracy before relying on them for important exams or assessments. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content.

9. Availability and Updates

We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the Pro plan, active subscribers will receive a prorated refund for unused subscription time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Versed Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. We do not guarantee any particular educational outcome from using the App.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Versed Apps operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may delete your account.
